October 24 to 25, by the Shaanxi Provincial Nonferrous Metals Society and the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Xi'an Survey and Design Institute jointly organized the "Shaanxi Province, the metal mine environmental geotechnical engineering academic seminar" was held in Qujiang International Hotel, which Is a non-ferrous metal industry in Shaanxi Province, a major academic event. Shaanxi Provincial Association of responsible comrades in charge of non-ferrous metals, Shaanxi Nonferrous Metals Holdings Group Co., Ltd., chairman of the party committee Huang Xiaoping and many other leaders and more than 260 technical personnel attended the meeting. The meeting was presided by Comrade Cui Enjing, Secretary General of Nonferrous Metals Society of Shaanxi Province, and delivered a welcoming speech by Mr. Fang Fangfang, President of Xijuanyuan. Mr. Liu Xuewu, Vice Chairman of Shaanxi Nonferrous Metals Society, delivered the opening speech.

The theme of this conference is: exploration and practice of geotechnical engineering theory, metal mine and enterprise green development and environmental protection. The purpose of this conference is to promote the technological progress and sustainable development in the field of geotechnical engineering of metal mines in our province through study and communication. Tsinghua University Hu Liming, Chang'an University Zhao Fashuo, Colored Changsha Survey Design and Research Institute Peng Yuansheng, Northwest Electric Power Design Institute Wang Zhenhua, Xiguan Wang Jianzhi and other 10 professors, experts at the meeting made a special academic report and related professional technical exchanges . Through academic exchanges, participants learned about the latest research in the field of environmental geotechnical theory and practice of progress, understand the mine geological environment protection and restoration and management of national policies, the tailings reservoir geotechnical investigation, tailings heightening expansion , On-line monitoring of tailings, landslide theory and engineering practice, mine environmental remediation and other aspects of the technical issues have a new understanding and improvement.
